Assistant Principal - Syvette Chaney-Pierce
Mrs. Pierce began her career in education in 2007 with Everman Independent School District as an 8th grade teacher at Everman Junior High. In her years of service in EISD, Mrs. Pierce has served as English Department Chair, Team Leader, Administrative Intern, Coach, Club Sponsor, and various other activities. In the 2008-2009 school year, Mrs. Pierce became the “Teacher of the Year”.
Mrs. Pierce grew up in Louisiana and graduated High school in Jefferson Davis Parish. She received her undergraduate degree from Grambling State University in Accounting, and earned her Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix in 2005. Mrs. Pierce worked as an Accountant for 15 years and worked with educational/youth programs for over 10 years. She became a certified educator in 2007 and earned her Administrative certification in 2013.
Married for over 26 years, she and her husband (Adam) have 3 children (Jenitza, Zachariah and Elijah). They were a military family for over 23 years which afforded them the opportunity to experience living in several different states and countries. Mrs. Pierce credits these opportunities for her love of diversity, reading, traveling and cooking.
Mrs. Pierce is looking forward to working with students, educators, parents and the leadership of Everman ISD community in breaking down barriers and bringing unimaginable success to Baxter Junior High. “It is truly my honor to serve the great people of Everman”.
