    Assistant Principal -  Martin DeHoyos

    Dear Baxter Jr. High Community,

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Charles Baxter Junior High School. I am looking forward to continuing to serve the students of Everman and working with the awesome staff, dedicated parents and community members at Baxter.

This will be my 9th year in the Everman Independent School District and 19th year as an administrator.  Prior to my service as an administrator, I served as a Spanish teacher, football, baseball and soccer coach with the Abilene ISD.

I have lived in the area for the past 10 years. My wife Gloria works for the Fort Worth ISD. I love sports, camping, and going to estate sales and collecting antiques I love grilling, spending time with family and spoiling my grandchildren.

One of my many goals is to provide a safe environment for all children with high expectations of continual success throughout their educational years. Baxter Jr. High has a proven track record of Academic Excellence with a creative staff that ensures effective instructional strategies. With this in mind I will work tirelessly to ensure student success and a positive experience during their time at Baxter Jr. High.

I look forward to the opportunity to establish positive relationships with the students, staff, and families of Baxter JR. High. I have an open-door policy and can be reached via email at mdehoyos@eisd.org.
