    Assistant Principal - Dexter Lindsey

    Hello Bulldog Family,

I am excited to join Everman ISD as an Assistant Principal at Joe C. Bean High School. With over 27 years of experience as an educator and administrator in three states, My educational philosophy is centered around this quote: “We learn by doing. Our world is an ever-changing, practical world that we can only know through action” - John Dewey.

My teaching career began in Monroe City Schools in Monroe, Louisiana as a math teacher. Also, I have taught at Grambling State University Laboratory School in Grambling, LA, Duncanville High School, Duncanville, Tx, Lutheran East High School in Cleveland, OH, and most recently, Shaker Heights City Schools, where I served as a math and computer teacher, IB and Student Support Coordinator, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal in Cleveland, OH.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Grambling State University, LA. I have a Master of Science in Educational Technology and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH.

My wife, Felicia (Fort Worth), and I have been married for 22 years, and our biggest joy is our two beautiful children: Addilyn and Colin.

I hope the new school year supports our students, staff, families, and community members.
