Make Up Policy
If a student is absent he/she will have the same number of days to make up any missed assignment. The exam or quiz can be made up by teacher discretion.Redo Policy
Homework, Classwork, Quizzes & Daily Work- Upon receiving an unfavorable grade (69 or Below), the student must immediately notify the teacher of their intent for a redo and agree to the time and day designated by the teacher.
- Students should correct any/all problem(s) they did not receive full credit on, showing either the correct work or giving an explanation as to what they did incorrectly. The student must demonstrate that he/she now understands how to do the problem correctly. This should be done on a separate piece of paper and stapled to the original paper.
- Redo grade will not exceed 70%.
- When a grade is impacted due to academic honesty; the student is not eligible for redo.
- A review/tutor session must happen before the redo work is accepted
- Redo’s need to be completed within 5 calendar days, including weekends if applicable.
Test (Does not Include Six Weeks Exam)
- Students who refuse to take the original test or who purposefully take a test randomly are not eligible to retest.
- When a grade is impacted due to academic honesty; the student is not eligible for retesting.
- A review/tutor session must happen before the redo work is accepted
- Redo Grade Will not exceed 70%.
- The retest/redo for a specific test must be completed within 5 school days following delivery of the test score.
- The teacher will administer the retest at a time determined by the teacher and communicated to the student.
Final Exams (Six Weeks Exam & Semester Exam) are not subject to the re-do opportunity policy.
Assignments must be re-done prior to Mid-Term (3rd Week) or Final Examination week (6th Week).
